I am currently a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I received a Master’s in Sociology from the Utah State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Korea University.

My scholarly interest is focused on demography of migration, fertility, and marriage. My research projects include estimation of international migration flows, harmonization of inconsistent migration data, intergenerational transmission of fertility behaviors, effects of personality traits on demographic outcomes, and socioeconomic determinants of suicide in the U.S. and Korea.
