Jason P. Robey

PhD Student


Jason is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also affiliated with the Center for Demography and Ecology.

His research focuses on crime, delinquency, incarceration, immigration, and inequality. Jason’s work has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Criminology, and two edited volumes. Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jason worked at the University of Minnesota Law School as a Research Associate with the Robina Institute of Criminal Justice, where his work focused on the role of probation and parole supervision in the criminal justice system.
