*Here are two problems that will test you ability to read text data into SPSS.

* Problem 1

* This data set includes these variables:  County ID, County Name, Population Estimates
   for 2009 to 2000 respectively (10 of them), an Estimate Base population, and a Census 2000
   count.  (Surprisingly, the last two numbers are sometimes different!)
* Read these data into SPSS, and determine the largest and smallest percent increase.  Which
    counties were these?
* The text data are located in y:\spss\data\WiscPopEst.txt



* Problem 2

* This data set has variables:  Age, Income, All Inactive, Male Inactive, Female Inactive,
    All Some Activity, Male Some Activity, Female Some Activity, All Regular Activity,
    Male Regular Activity, Female Regular Activity.  The numbers represent the percent
    of that population who have that level of activity.
* Read these data into SPSS.  Does income appear to be related to activity level?
* Bonus question:  cn you figure out what the proportions of male/female are for
    each category?
