Note: Codebooks contain frequency data from the private data release. For some variables, these differ from the frequencies in the public release. Variables that differ between the public and private versions include "(not available on public release)" as part of the variable description, or a note indicating the difference between the public and private versions.

URELI - Religion Module Sibling-Spouse Phone Instrument OVERVIEW The religion section for the 2005 - 2007 interview of spouses of the WLS siblings asks only one question. This question asks about frequency of attendance at religious services in the last year. Answers are accepted at the unit of day, week, month or year and converted into the total number of times per year. Religious preference of the spouses is not measured here because it was collected in the 2005 sibling instrument. to an inap value here, even though refusing or not knowing one of the components of a constructed
variable could imply refusing or not knowing the variable itself. An inap in BL003RED does not always
imply a missing value in 004. 003 could have been skipped because 002 was zero, but this still leads
to a meaningful value (zero) for attendance.
