OVERVIEW

  Information about the Graduate Respondent's depression experience was collected in 
  the following manner:

   - In 2004, life-time experiences of depression have been aksed to 
     Graduate Respondents who were randomly selected to answer on 
     alcohor comsumption and depression expereinces (ALCFLAG = 1).
     
   - This 2004 questionnaire is replicate of 1992 survey and they  
     share same data structure.     

   
BRIEF VARIABLE DESCRIPTIONS 

  GU001RE                Random sample selection. (ALCFLAG)

  GU002RE-GU012REC       Ever depressed, age, symptoms. 

  GU013RE                Count of depression episodes lasting two weeks
                         or more.

  GU014RE-GU015RE        Length of depression episode for respondents
                         who had ONLY ONE episode.

  GU016RE-GU019RE        Average duration and average time between 
                         episodes for respondents who had more than
                         one depression episode.

  GU020RE-GU021RE        Age at first and last episodes of depression.

  GU022RE-GU023RE        Psychological well-being between depression
                         episodes.

  GU024RE                Count of depression symptoms.
