This course will teach you how to work with "string" variables, or variables containing text rather than numbers. We'll cover the most important tools for working with string variables in Stata and how to use them to carry out common tasks, such as parsing and matching.
Please note that while we'll be working with text, the tools we'll learn are useful for quantitative analysis, not qualitative.
