WISCER is a community for students and faculty devoted to investigating the social world through firsthand observation, interviews, and other qualitative methods. We strive to create a welcoming community where researchers can share work, discuss methodology, and learn together in community. We host a weekly Qual Methods Workshop<\/a>, workshops, panels, guest speakers, and casual socials throughout the academic year. We are hosted out of University of Wisconsin\u2013Madison\u2019s Department of Sociology<\/a> and Department of Community and Environmental Sociology<\/a>, but our community is open to everybody regardless of departmental affiliation.<\/p>\n
