How to use the CAAR Blog

CLICK ON CDHA CAAR, AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE, AT ANY TIME, TO RETURN TO THE LATEST ITEM IN THE WEBLOG.

1. For those of you who wish to use the weblog in the format of the old reports, simply click on the report categories of choice on the right side of the page. They are the same report categories that were used in the old reports.

2. Items are also available via the “key words” on the right side of the page. The size of the key word(s) is an indicator of the proportion of items that are tagged with it.

Note that the weblog DOES NOT support simultaneous combined category and key word sorting.

3. The weblog may be searched using the “search for” box on the right side of the page.

4. The weblog may be browsed page by page (there will be a maximum of 50 items per page) or by use of the calendar on the right side of the page.

5. Interested users may subscribe to a RSS feed (the appearance of the feed is dependent on the browser or RSS program you are using) on the lower right side of the page.

6. There are a certain number of items that are repeated on a weekly basis. At present they are: AgeWork; CARDI e-library update; NEP-AGE Working Papers; AoA eNewsletter; and Amadeo Medical Literature Guide. We will not be announcing updates of these sites in the weblog. Users are encouraged to click on the “recurring aging related links” link on the right side of the page for updates to these sites. Note that clicking on any weblog item will open a new tab, which can then be closed to go back to the weblog. BUT OPENING THE RECURRING LINKS ITEM TAKES YOU TO A NEW PAGE. TO GET BACK TO THE WEBLOG FROM HERE, CLICK ON YOUR BROWSER’S “BACK” BUTTON, OR CLICK ON “CDHA CAAR” AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.

7. Any feedback on the new format can be sent to jsolock@ssc.wisc.edu.
