Biographical Statement

Racial Disparities in Criminal Justice

Current research tracks racial disparities in imprisonment and arrest in Wisconsin and the US, and seeks to identify the causes and consequences of these disparities. Web site includes on-line graphics and links to reports and slide shows produced by this project, as well as to related information produced at many other sites.

Protest Dynamics

Current research examines the dynamic relations among protests, institutional politics, and news media in the ongoing process of a social movement. Web site includes links to publications, coding protocols, and simulation models.
