About Me
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research focuses on identifying mechanisms of educational stratification and areas of potential intervention. In my dissertation, I use mixed methods to explore how racial/ethnic inequalities in family-school connections develop during early elementary school in low-income Latino communities.
