In Germany, anti-discrimination law is still controversial and rarely enforced - this picture shows an ad in a drugstore window blatantly looking for men to work there, and this is only about a 1/2 mile from the parliament in a high-traffic area (Friedrichstrasse station).

But the special measures for women include not only things like paid maternity leaves but special parking places in more lighted and secure locations for women -- like a handicapped parking spot.
