I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison and expect to defend my dissertation in May 2012. My research interests include political sociology, development, peace and conflict studies, research methods, globalization, democratization, human rights, and transitional justice.
My dissertation, “Making Society ‘Civil’: NGOs, Donors, and Peacebuilding in Post-War Croatia,” examines the international peacebuilding strategy of promoting civil society.
