I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison and will defend my dissertation in September 2012. I will be a post-doctoral fellow at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at Notre Dame for the spring semester, 2013.
My research interests include political sociology, development, peace and conflict studies, research methods, globalization, democratization, human rights, and transitional justice.
My dissertation, “Making Society ‘Civil’: NGOs, Donors, and Peacebuilding in Post-War Croatia,” examines how peacebuilding outcomes in Croatia were shaped by civil society interventions.
