My scholarly interest is focused on demography of migration, fertility, and marriage. My research projects include estimation of international migration flows, harmonization of inconsistent migration data, intergenerational transmission of fertility behaviors, effects of personality traits on demographic outcomes, and socioeconomic determinants of suicide in the U.S. and Korea.
