Hae Yeon Choo
I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research interests include gender & sexuality, migration & citizenship, transnational sociology, sociology of culture, and ethnography.
I am currently writing my dissertation, examining citizenship in practice in the experiences of Filipina migrant women in relation to the South Korean state and civil society.
