DoIT STS MATLAB 1

DoIT's Software Training for Students is holding an Introductory MATLAB course in our 3218 lab and has invited our users to participate. MATLAB is a numerical computing environment and fourth generation programming language. Developed by The MathWorks, MATLAB allows matrix manipulation, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs in other languages. Topics include:

  • MATLAB interface
  • M Code
  • Arrays and matrices
  • .M files
  • Graphing

Math experience is a prerequisite for this class.

As STS is funded through the Student Information Technology Initiative fee, a portion of student tuition, you MUST be a currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student to be able to take this course. Unfortunately faculty and staff are not eligible.

To register for this course, please visit DoIT's STS website,register for an STS account, and enroll in the course. The course is limited to 25 students and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
