The SAS Macro language is an extension of the SAS programming language that consists of its own syntax. The Macro language allows you to pass information between SAS steps, dynamically create code by substituting text in SAS statements, conditionally execute DATA or PROC steps, or write code that can be used over and over in the same or different programs. After this lecture, you'll have the tools you need to write your own macro programs. This is an advanced level SAS class.
