This course will discuss Stata tools like macros, programs and loops. These tools can make your Stata code much shorter and thus quicker to write--sometimes so much so that doing it any other way would be impractical.
To benefit from this class you'll need a solid understanding of basic Stata syntax. If you don't have experience using Stata you'll want to attend our Introduction to Stata class or work through our An Introduction to Stata publication on your own before attending Programming in Stata.
The material in this course can also be found in our publication Programming in Stata.
