Remember, always save your files on network drives (like U:) never in My Documents or on the Desktop!
If you need greater computing power than Winstat can offer, contact the SSCC Help Desk and request a Linux account.

The School of Education's IT staff remain your primary computing services provider. If you are having trouble with your account or logging into Winstat, contact the SoE Help Desk (265-4773 or helpdesk@education.wisc.edu) or your department's primary technology support contact.
However, you are very welcome to send questions about statistical software to the SSCC Help Desk. This could be anything from "Why is my Stata program crashing?" to "How do I do X in SPSS?" to "What computing tools should I use to for my project?"
The SSCC Knowledge Base covers everything from a general introduction to the SSCC to tutorials on Stata and SAS to specific topics like bootstrapping and working with hierarchical data.
