Do not send submissions directly to the Editor, Coeditors, Managing Editor
or Editorial Office. Failure to submit online will only delay consideration.

The JHR has no submission fee. No hard copies are required.
Please note that the JHR rarely considers submissions that are longer than 40 pages including tables, figures, and references. Appendixes with additional material may be submitted for consideration by editors and reviewers. If a paper is published, the JHR may place appendixes on the JHR informational website, which is accessible at no charge. The informational website with tables of contents, abstracts, and appendixes is http//www.ssc.wisc.edu/jhr.
