or
- A course in mathematical analysis that has three semesters of calculus as a prerequisite (at present, an example of such a course is Math 521) and afterwards a graduate course in economics (Course number >700) with a grade of B or higher.

* Requires 3 semesters of calculus, one course in linear algebra, 3 advanced electives in economics and econometrics (Econ 410).     See complete description in catalog.
2 This course will be a renumbered econ 590 and it has econ 410 as a prerequisite (Econ 410 requires one semester of calculus)
