Scram! Couriers--Madison's only bike messenger service. It's kind of like my paid hobby. Mad props to Jillian for building this business and being such a great friend in the process, and of course to Kevin, for getting me involved in this in the first place. And Rick, Dave, Jon, Martin, Berlie, and all the other Scram!ers.
Lord of the Chainrings--Alleycat I participated in and organized in Madison. This website goes to the results page of LOTCR 3, the one I organized.
Photos from CMWC in New York City. Er... ummm... technically Jersey City. Needless to say, I was NOT crowned cycle messenger world champion.
575s--My old band. Haikus set to music? Brilliant! Jesse, Matt, and Sam were co-conspirators. Jesse keeps bugging me about recording an album. Maybe if he would quit travelling to exciting places like China and start travelling to slightly less exciting places like Wisconsin, we'd get it done!
New College of Florida--I have to put this here. I did a lot of growing up here. In addition to learning stuff, playing in dumb bands, wasting a lot of time, making wonderful friends, etc. You know, all those things one does in college. But really, this place is different.
New College Bike Shop--Volunteer, student-run bike shop on campus. I worked here for 4 years and was the manager for 3 years. I spent more time there than anywhere else on campus, thus yielding my moniker, "Bike Shop Peter." Oh, the grease and the mess and the parties and the community bike project and the rides and... I get a bit nostalgiac about this place. I hear it's in good hands right now, even though the web page hasn't been updated since 2003.
Peddler Bike Shop--The first bike shop I worked at. It's like they say, you never forget your first time. And you definitely never forget Hal, Big Dave, & co.
ACT--AIDS Network Cycles Together--fundraiser bike ride for the local service provider in southern Wisconsin. I did ACT II and III, had some fun, got a Master's Degree, and am(hopefully) publishing an article about it.
WORT 89.9 FM--Madison's community radio station. I'm the bike traffic reporter--the only one in the country?--for the 8 O'Clock Buzz on Friday morning. Yes, it's a complete joke. You can hear my past performances in the archives!

Memphis Digital Arts Co-op--Non-profit independent film co-op in Memphis, TN. Good friends Denny and Brandon helped get this organization off the ground, and it's now going strong!
The Tri-Fives--My good friend Bill's current band. Bill was formerly of Anti-Anti and the legendary Sam's Cosmic Radio. Good punk music. Bill's the one wearing the black shirt and tie. Oh wait...
DIY Media--Good friend Phlegm's website. Possibly the most comprehensive resource for microradio and pirate radio on the web. Also possibly the most extensive collection of audio collages out there. And much, much, more.
Jonny Cycles--Jon Kendziera, maker of my most treasured of bicycles. Handmade in Madison, Wisconsin. These are excellent lugged steel bikes made by a good friend and wonderful person.
Kevin Wehr--Now a professor at Cal State University, Sacramento. Biker extraordinaire, progressive activist, sexy sociologist. He gives me hope that I can make it, too!
