Brinson Sociological Institute

Blogging is dead. That is SO 2007.

Simple HTML websites are making a comeback. No multimedia, no animation, no ads.

Just links and bad formatting.

I'm so retro. And so cool. Here's my CV to prove it.

NEWS! EXTRA! EXTRA! BLOG ALL ABOUT IT!

Well, I got married. Yup. Notice the new name at the top of the page. My dream of becoming the most-googled Peter Brinson on the web is now officially a failure. But now, I think I can totally take the title of most-googled Peter Hart-Brinson.

The wedding was lovely. Full of ritual and symbolism. I could just imagine Durkheim smiling down on me from our socially-constructed and ritually-maintained heaven. We have adapted the name-changing ritual to modern, more egalitarian times by hyphenating both of our names. So now I'm going through an identity crisis.

Nevertheless, the Brinson Sociological Institute will remain the B.S. Institute. While I regret to drag the Hart family into the rest of this mess, it would be just too much to lend their namesake to the B.S. Institute. Plus I would lose the clever acronym.

So, now, without further ado, welcome to the World According to Peter Hart-Brinson.

Are you talking to me? Are you talking to me? I don't see anyone else here, so you must be talking to me. Send me an email.
