  • http://www.pbs.org/ PBS site has an enormous amount of links to sites relevant to its programming in a wide variety of areas, including history and science.
  • http://www.historychannel.com/ a commercial site mostly advertising their own shows, but detailed "exhibits" contain links to encyclopedia entries and relevant web sites. A search on keywords will bring up short summaries.
• Wisconsin Policy Research Institute There is no index to their many reports and articles which speak to public policy issues in Wisconsin, focusing on education, welfare and social services, criminal justice, taxes and spending, and economic development; also conducts a Wisconsin poll. There are also quite a few casino articles.
• Political references. A huge gateway site, links to government agencies, parties, organizations, issues, etc. Much of it is by subscription. The "almanac" is free.

• Calculators on Line Lots of them: statistical, mathematical, scientific, specialized (e.g. physics, chemistry), conversions (e.g. clothing sizes, calendar systems), construction. An amazing collection of links.
• Statistical Resources This page links to lots of pages with on-line statistical functions, including many forms of regression, curve-fitting, distributions, calculators, distributions, sample size & experimental design calculators, etc.
