links to encyclopedia entries and relevant web sites. A search on keywords
will bring up short summaries.
- Wisconsin Policy Research Institute There is no index to their many reports and articles which speak to
public policy issues in Wisconsin, focusing on education, welfare and
social services, criminal justice, taxes and spending, and economic
development; also conducts a Wisconsin poll. There are also quite a
few casino articles.
- Political references. A huge
gateway site, links to government agencies, parties, organizations,
issues, etc. Much of it is by subscription. The "almanac" is free.

an information-tracking firm. Their service allows professors to register
a class; students submit through turnitin.com, and all papers are checked
against a wide variety of internet sites for originality; pricing assumes
