ViVa: A Bibliography of Women's History in Historical & Women's Studies Journals (1995 - present) ViVa is a bibliography of citations to scholarly articles about women's and gender history. Articles published in English, French, German and Dutch are selected from more than a hundred European, American and Indian Journals.
Women's Resources International (1972 & earlier - October 2001)
Women's Resources International is a composite of ten contributing databases covering women's studies, women's issues, and gender-focused scholarship from throughout the world.

Of special interest to this course is the publication Connexions which, although it has ceased publication, contains Engligh translations of articles from feminist magazines. To search for items from this publication, select the Advanced Search Mode and enter the phrase German or Germany in the Key Words/Phrases field and the title Connexions in the Source/Periodical Titles Field.

For searches for other information, the quick mode is sufficient to use. Results will combine books, chapters in books, periodicals, some dissertations and occassionally other material. Index terms can be used, but since the overall database is a composite of several seperate databases several sets of index terms are used and it is generally more effective to use key words to search.
